Project includes 37.5% affordable apartments

Grid has secured planning permission for a housing and community centre on Battersea Bridge Road in south-west London.

Wandsworth council approved the project, which will replace an existing chapel and create a new community hub and homes on a small corner plot.

The existing building, which is owned by the London City Mission, had become unfit for use.
