Foster + Partners’ original 5,000-home masterplan granted approval nearly six years ago

Gensler has been appointed to redesign the first phase of a Foster + Partners masterplan for the 5,000-home Thameside West scheme in east London.

The US practice has been brought in by Dubai-based developer Arada, which purchased an 80% stake in the £2.5bn development from private developer Keystone last November.
