Stantec has completed its acquisition of US-based architecture and engineering firm Page, a deal that positions it as the second largest architecture practice in the United States and reinforces its status as the largest integrated architecture and engineering firm in North America.

The news follows the publication of Building Design’s WA100 2025 rankings in January, which listed Stantec joint 18th globally by number of fee-earning architects. The acquisition is set to increase the company’s US employee headcount to around 13,500 and expand its buildings practice by approximately 35%.

Founded in 1898, Page employs 1,400 staff and operates across 20 cities in the US and Mexico. Its portfolio includes large-scale healthcare, civic, academic, aviation, and data centre projects, with clients across both public and private sectors.

“This acquisition will greatly support our strategic market growth in our Buildings business,” said Gord Johnston, Stantec’s president and chief executive. “It enables us to leverage our expanded platform to better serve our North American clients and grow our worldwide market presence.”
