With government saying controls will last at least three more weeks, Building Design wants to hear about your experiences

coronavirus

Building Design is conducting an industry-wide survey to investigate the continuing impact the coronavirus crisis is having in construction.

The RIBA’s latest Future Trends survey showed confidence in future workloads has crashed. And data out this week suggests that three-quarters of housing schemes are on hold, equivalent to nearly 300,000 homes, while there are estimates of £68bn worth of delayed construction projects.

Building Design, along with its sister titles Building and Housing Today, is covering the situation and wants to hear from you about the effect the outbreak is having on you and your business.

In previous reader research, carried out just after the government announced social distancing controls on March 23, more than 90% of respondents said they feared the pandemic could spell the end for their firms.

Please take a moment to complete this short survey and help us understand the sentiment of the construction industry as it faces unprededented challenges.
