Decision on controversial £1.5bn overhaul expected in 2024

Herzog & de Meuron’s controversial proposals to build a 21-storey office development above Liverpool Street station have been submitted for planning.

The scheme’s developers Sellar and Network Rail have sent in the £1.5bn plans to the City of London, with a decision expected next year.
