Downhill all the way for FaulknerBrown's £270m indoor snow centre

1. Swindon Indoor Snow Centre - FaulknerBrowns Achitects - View from approach

Scheme is architect’s fifth indoor piste

FaulknerBrowns’ plans for a £270m indoor snow centre in Swindon have been given full planning consent.

North Star Village, which is being developed by SevenCapital, will become the fifth snow slope designed by the practice, and only the seventh in the UK.

The facility will include one of the UK’s largest ski and snow centres, with two real-snow indoor ski slopes, around 500,000sq ft of retail, dining and leisure facilities and a 13-screen cinema which will include Europe’s largest Imax screen.
