London office developers putting net zero goals on the backburner

More than half of respondents to Deloitte survey say their developments will not hit target before end of decade as demand for office space slows

London office developers are putting their net zero goals on the back burner following a slump in leasing demand this year, according to Deloitte.

Over half, 54%, of respondents to the financial advisory giant’s latest crane survey for the six months to September said their developments would only reach net zero after 2030, compared to 70% saying they were aiming for 2030 or earlier in the same period last year.
