Third proposals for grade II-listed site said to cost half of Network Rail’s current Acme-designed scheme

John McAslan & Partners has unveiled a rival plan for the redevelopment of Liverpool Street station as an alternative to the two schemes already in the planning system.

The King’s Cross Station architect said its proposals, drawn up with 2012 Olympic Velodrome engineers Expedition, would be around half of the cost of Network Rail’s £1.2bn Acme-designed scheme for the site.
