Bennetts cleared for next phase of London theatre revamp

Architect’s earlier work at London venue won RIBA award

Bennetts Associates has secured planning and listed building consent from Camden council for the second phase of the Shaftesbury Theatre renovation in London’s West End.

Work will include redeveloping public spaces around the grade-II listed theatre and remodelling foyers and bars which will see new foyer space below ground serving the basement-level stalls, and the extension and refurbishment of the current ground and upper-level bars.
