Architects and other staff at Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners have begun a 10-day cycle ride from London to Venice to raise money for two research charities based at the newly opened Francis Crick Building.

The 24 cyclists - who also include colleagues at other firms - will cross 10 countries during the 1,000-mile VeloVeni ride.

They include architects Douglas Paul, Hamish Crockett, Jack Newton and Dawid Panek.

They are raising money for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimers Research UK, both charities with personal connections for many of the riders.

For more details of the route and each rider’s story - and to donate - visit the VeloVeni website.
