Housing Architect of the Year creates new board of directors

East London-based practice pH+ has made a raft of promotions on the back of a range of new commissions and a body of work that saw it win BD’s Housing Architect of the Year title in the spring.

The business, which also has a studio in Sydney, said it had seen an increase in the scale and typology of its projects of late, including invitations to work on the Montessori education framework and the expansion of its mixed-use and residential experience into co-working and co-living models.

Recent schemes gaining planning consent for the practice have included a 52-home mixed-use scheme at Hackney Wick in east London and approval for the 107-home redevelopment of a former electricity works in St Albans.
