Manchester scheme referred to communities secretary Michael Gove ahead of decision this Thursday

Manchester council is set to approve plans by Jon Matthews architects to build an office tower above a listed Victorian warehouse despite an objection from Historic England.

The council’s planning committee is due to decide on the proposals for King Street West, in the city’s commercial centre, on Thursday.
