The Griplock from Grayson promises to speed up the process, improve on-site safety and and turn a two-person job into a task that can be done solo
The specially designed clamp was designed by Richard Brealey, managing director of masonry support installers Vision, based on his 30 years of experience in the business.

Having watched many teams installing masonry support systems over the years, Brealey recognised an opportunity to improve the process. Installers lose time as they position, hold up and mark up each section. Meanwhile, the non-specialised and improvised clamps some use to help with the process just don’t work well enough.
Recognising the inefficiency and safety risks, Brealey set out to create a better solution. Working closely with Vision’s fitting teams, he began sketching ideas and then collaborated with a local engineering company to produce a prototype. Following extensive on-site trials and refinements, the team achieved a design that the installers at Vision loved.
GripLock, the masonry support setting tool, is now available through Grayson.
