Andrew McMullan appointed vice president at firm’s London practice

A senior project leader from Heatherwick Studio has jumped ship to HOK’s London practice.

Andrew McMullan led teams on major international schemes including projects in New York and Singapore for the practice.

He was previously a project architect at Allies and Morrison where he worked on the London 2012 Olympic masterplan and the Stirling Prize-nominated Rothschild Bank Headquarters.

HOK said McMullan would be a vice president and senior project designer at its London practice and would work directly with senior vice president and design principal Larry Malcic to lead major projects and enhance the design culture across the practice.

Malic said McMullan had “honed his unique talent working with world-recognised designers” and would add fresh perspectives to the HOK team.

“His ideas and experience will contribute to our continued growth in quality, size and expertise,” he said.
