Proctor & Matthew, Feilden Clegg Bradley and CF Moller to work with Scandinavian contractor

Skanska has chosen six architects to work on housing developments across the UK.

Feilden Clegg Bradley, CF Moller, PRP Architects, White Design, Formation Architects and Proctor & Matthews Architects will work with the Scandinavian contractor to design residential schemes.

More than 30 practices took part in the two-stage anonymous competition, which included architects collaborating on proposals.

Jamie Wilding, development manager of Skanska Residential, said: “The six successful firms really listened to the customers and tailored their presentations to them. The whole idea is to design new homes for real people.”

The first houses will be built in Cambridge and are due to be completed in 2012.
