Aren’t building regulations meant to be for the benefit of building users? (“Pickles under pressure over building reg delays” bdonline February 25).
Surely we do not enact changes just to benefit manufacturers (especially foreign ones) do we? The status quo will not hinder new housebuilding, so why the fuss?
Perhaps zero-carbon houses are a pointless aim because we can have 90% CO2 saving at minimal extra capital cost.
