Am I too soon to nominate this sombre red brick block with scatter-gun fenestration for the Carbuncle Cup? I prefer the uniform serenity of the parent building.

According to your report (Buildings April 5), Notre Dame School has access to playing fields on the opposite side of St George’s Road. Looking at the photograph and axonometric, this is a four-lane one-way thoroughfare, yet it appears to have no footbridge or pedestrian crossing. I am wondering just how access to the fields is achieved.
