Five new partners and six new directors appointed across London, Singapore and Tokyo

PLP has appointed five new partners and six new directors as part of a global leadership shake-up.
The newly promoted partners include Tina Qiu, who leads the practice’s South-East Asia and China operations and HaenSuk Yi, who drives design and delivery across PLP’s Korea portfolio.
Su Cully, who is based at the firm’s research and consultancy arm PLP Labs, has also been made partner alongside masterplanning and mixed-use lead Marta Gonzalez-Ruiz and project director Andrew Tsang.
The new directors are Eleftheria Varda, Mariangeles Fernandez, Roberto Caputo and Ryan Kingsnorth across project delivery, and Paul Tupper as head of graphics and Rae Borden as head of business development.
The practice said the appointments will strengthen its leadership team across its studios in London, Singapore and Tokyo.
The firm has also launched a new website as part of a company-wide rebrand, which it said reflects the growth of the practice and “establishes its key guiding principles”.

The new branding has been conceived by its in-house design team, in collaboration with New York-based graphic designer Cristhian Saboga.
PLP president and founding partner Lee Polisano said: “We have greatly evolved since we first established PLP Architecture’s London studio in 2009. We are now a global practice, providing creative, design-led astute services to clients worldwide and our brand needed to reflect this.
“Our new visual identity is not a reinvention but an alignment and a reflection of who we are today and a celebration of the team’s achievements.”
Major PLP projects in London include the City’s 22 Bishopsgate and Holborn Viaduct office schemes, and Bankside Yards.
