Scheme to house around 3,000 staff across 15-acre campus
Planning permission has been granted for a new Sky office campus in Scotland with Graham appointed as the scheme’s main contractor.
Designed by Michael Laird Associates (MLA), the Livingston campus in West Lothian will house around 3,000 staff focused on customer services.
It will replace four existing buildings on the Kirkton Campus, combining a newbuild scheme with leased space on the Alba Campus to create a new site spanning some 15 acres.
Sky billed the project as a “flagship customer service hub” which would bring together the entertainment giant’s existing operations into a single modern workplace.
The firm’s chief executive of UK Consumer Sophia Ahmad said the project will deliver “lasting economic benefits for the local community and wider region.”
Graham regional director Chris MacLeod described the scheme as “one of the most significant workplace developments Scotland has seen in recent years” while promising the contractor would work with local businesses to provide “lasting economic benefit” for West Lothian and the wider region.
Livingston MP Gregor Poynton said the development would “help secure Sky’s presence in Livingston for decades to come while reinforcing West Lothian’s reputation as one of Scotland’s leading locations for investment, innovation and high-quality employment.”
