Glasgow firm trading for just over a year
Gordon Murray Architects has gone into liquidation. The Glasgow-based firm began trading last year following the demise of Gordon Murray & Alan Dunlop (GM&AD) after 14 years as a partnership.
Last month Gordon Murray secured secured permission for a 10-storey office building at One West Regent Street in Glasgow.
Duddingston House Properties is developing the building, a revision of an earlier scheme which was granted consent in December 2007.
The revised scheme features polished cast Portland stone facades designed to provide a transition between the Portland stone panels of neighbouring James Miller House and the art deco Odeon building on the other side of the site.
