Central St Martins is gearing up to move from its Charing Cross Road and Southampton Row sites to Stanton Williams-designed premises in London’s King’s Cross before September.
The internationally renowned art and design college is transporting more than 100 years’ worth of papers, artworks and equipment to a new, 39,000sq m campus within the grade II listed Victorian Granary, behind King’s Cross station.
The imposing six-storey 55m x 31m building, which was designed by Lewis Cubitt in 1851, will form the main front of the university.
