Anshen & Allen and BDP have been shortlisted for the £288 million Alder Hey Children’s Health Park Project in Liverpool, beating three other consortiums.
The PFI project involves building an entirely new hospital on a park before demolishing the existing Victorian hospital and recreating a park in its place.
Anshen & Allen is working with Balfour Beatty while BDP is part of the Acorn Consortium also involving Laing Investments and contractor Laing O’Rourke.
The client team will now work with the two consortiums before a preferred bidder is selected in June 2011. Work is not due to start until April 2012.
