Chris Williamson warned of uncertainty at a ‘critical time’ for the built environment following Starmer’s resignation

RIBA president Chris Williamson has called for “strong leadership” to provide stability to the built environment sector following Keir Starmer’s resignation.

Starmer announced he would step down as prime minister and Labour party leader yesterday morning with former Manchester mayor Andy Burnham widely expected to replace him as soon as next month.
