Norwich council looking for architect to design urban village on former industrial site

Carrow Works site

Team sought for £1.2m job lasting 17 months

Norwich city council and Homes England are looking for an architect to design the first phase of a “major new urban extension” on the edge of Norwich.

The public tender notice follows Homes England’s acquisition of a 17ha former industrial site called Carrow Works, which is part of a wider regeneration area to the east of the city which the council has earmarked for up to 3,500 new homes.
