British Land invites architects to discuss developing their ideas for £4bn project

Mikhail Riches and Soda Studio have won the BD Live crit – and with it an invitation from British Land to discuss their ideas for its £4bn Canada Water scheme.

The two practices were declared joint winners of the competition which was held in front of a room full of architects and industry professionals at this year’s BD Live conference.

Coffey Architects, Reiach and Hall, Soda Studio and Mikhail Riches were selected from a longlist of previous AYA shortlisted and winning practices to work up designs for an area of the new town centre which has been masterplanned by Allies & Morrison. Each receives a £7,500 honorarium.
