Architect AHMM has appointed seven of its directors to its four-strong executive board that was previously occupied by the firm’s quartet of founders.

The practice said that the seven – Thomas Gardner, Hazel Joseph, Susi Le Good, Robert Romanis, Wade Scaramucci, Philip Turner and Marc Williams whose appointments have been confirmed in filings made at Companies House – will join founding directors Simon Allford, Jonathan Hall, Paul Monaghan and Peter Morris who set up the business in 1989.

In a statement, AHMM said of the seven: “Each of them has made a significant contribution to the work and practice of AHMM over the last two decades, in London, around the UK and internationally.”

The longest serving member of the seven stepping up is Le Good who joined AHMM in 1992 and is leading the team behind 1 Broadgate which reached practical completion in September and has been built by Sir Robert McAlpine.

Marc Williams, who oversees the firm’s digital design team, is the most recent arrival of the seven, having joined in 2011.

In its last set of accounts filed at Companies House, AHMM saw turnover for the year slip 5% to £47m for the year to March 2024 while pre-tax losses narrowed from £1.8m in 2023 to £1.4m.
