Fletcher-Rae Architects' Brunswick Quay proposals, earmarked for Brunswick Dock in Liverpool

552-home Brunswick Dock scheme submitted to city council planners

Fletcher-Rae Architects proposals for a 12-storey mixed used development on the River Mersey, south of Liverpool city centre, have been lodged for planning.

The scheme, named Brunswick Quay, was created for Maro Developments and would deliver 552 apartments across four buildings as well as garden piazzas, secure car parking and ground-floor retail and commercial units.

Fletcher-Rae said the buildings had a “distinctive layering” of materials and featured “a random array of windows and openings” that aimed to create the kind of camouflage effect from a distance that wartime dazzle ships had achieved.
