The work will be mainly carried out in Scotland’s Central Belt

Bidders will be required to have had an average annual turnover of at least £160,000 for the last two years, as well as employer’s liability insurance of £5m and public liability insurance of £5m.

The framework agreement will mainly cover new build housing but individual projects could include the refurbishments and extensions along with office and commercial property work.

The projects will range in size, tenure and type from mainstream housing to a variety of particular needs housing with types covering all affordable tenures, private rented and market sale.

Applicants are asked to have experience of projects within the affordable housing sector of between five and 500 units.

Work will focus mainly on the Central Belt of Scotland, although Link said jobs could take place in any part of the country.
