One of Belfast’s most impressive listed buildings has reopened following an 18- month refurbishment.
The £7 million scheme, designed by Hamilton Architects, saw the 130-year-old Crescent Arts Centre transformed from a state of disrepair into a rehearsal, performance, exhibition and arts education space.
More than half of the structure had fallen into disrepair. The repaired building now boasts a multipurpose space with retractable theatre seating, dance studio, galleries, workshop spaces, photographic studio and café.
