Conran & Partners has been appointed as interior designer at One Tower Bridge, the controversial development designed by Squire & Partners.
The firm will be responsible for the inside of all the 365 apartments and communal areas across four buildings on Potters Field, which is between Tower Bridge and City Hall on the Thames.
Jane Lawrence, interior design director at Conran & Partners, said: “We have been based in SE1 since 1991 and are passionate about the area. We know what it is like to live and work here and are delighted with the opportunity to work with Berkeley Homes and Squire & Partners on this exciting and significant project.”
She said the interiors would complement Squires’ architecture as well as taking inspiration from the immediate surroundings of the City, Shad Thames and Butlers Wharf, a previous Conran project.
One Tower Bridge was granted planning by Southwark Council in March despite objections from Cabe and neighbouring Greenwich Council.
