Index pic (51)

As part of Building Design’s Designing Tomorrow’s Housing campaign, Ben Flatman introduces the expert advisory panel whose breadth of experience will help guide the discussion on how to raise housing quality while delivering the homes the country needs

The Designing Tomorrow’s Housing campaign will explore how we can raise the quality of new housing while meeting the government’s pledge to deliver 1.5 million homes. It will ask how architects, planners and developers can work together to create homes and places that are sustainable, inclusive and genuinely life-enhancing. Through interviews and case studies the campaign will highlight practical ways to embed design quality, retrofit, density and social value into mainstream housing delivery.

The campaign brings together a diverse panel of experts from across architecture, planning, development and regeneration. Their collective knowledge spans everything from grassroots community-led housing and rural settlement design to large-scale estate renewal and cutting-edge construction techniques.
