The new pull handle designed by Patrick Lynch is an attempt to reconcile the platonic sections ubiquitous in contemporary ironmongery and create a hybrid form. 

A square section segues into a circular section and the result is a subtly transforming form which gives a comfortable round grip but then hints at change as the thumb, placed higher on the handle, is given a flat section to rest on. 

The surprising morphing of sections produces a sculptural, compelling object with the idea of transformation contained within its subtly changing profile.
