Wonders: Teatro Teresa Carreno | Museo de Bellas Artes, Caracas

When I visited Caracas in 2005 I was drawn to the arts quarter on the edge of the magnificent Parque Los Caobos. The cultural centre, Teatro Teresa Carreno (1973-83, by Sandoval, Lugo and Kunckel), has a hulking great rock of a fly tower, set against the surrounding mountains.
