Well done SAVE, punching above your weight as ever to defend the built historic environment. It is always heartening to see campaigners being proactive in devising alternative schemes which more clearly produce schemes which represent sustainable development, the chief driver behind the NPPF. Development which harms the historic environment is not sustainable and your leadership on the Welsh Streets and the alternative vision for Smithfield as well shows that constructive thinking is at the heart of conservation.
