Have to say that from the images in this article AHMM's refurb looks like a transition form the sublime to the ridiculous. Doubtless the scheme adds functionality and updates the 'user exerience' but can't help thinking the exisiting building has an air of quiet diginity that the refurb somehow manages to eradicate.
Brick to crinkly tin and render never a good move.
Anyway nice to see some investment being undertaken and fees being earnt.
