Long before the High Line, London had the Greenway - recently given a beautiful facelift by Adams and Sutherland. But not many people know about it (thank goodness - it makes cycling along it so much momre fun).

So, all you trendies - you don't know how silly you look, talking about how great D & S's thing in New York is. London has not only the Greenway (which is built over Bazalgette's sewer), but also dozens of former railway lines now converted into pedestrian and cycle paths. But I guess not being in NYC, nobody thinks they're sexy !
