I went around the olympic park a couple of weeks, the standard of landscape and architecture there was outstanding, in very sharp contrast to the majority of development on all sides. So sad that a great opportunity to regenerate this area well has been lost. Compare with the regeneration of Barcelona, where good quality buildings were built and a city quarter was invigorated.
