When are people going to start realising that demolition is not the answer. We need to think about the impact of this on our environment, completely regardless of architectural taste. This proposal should be commended. RHG may not be to everyone's taste, but I dread the thought of one of the replacement contenders actually being built in its place and the same argument for demolition taking place in 50 years times. Architects can be forgiven for learning from their mistakes and improving them, but not for making the same ones again.
