Commiserations to all whose nomination did not quite make it. Fortunately mine did. I say fortunately, as I felt strongly enough to get involved in this, but also sad that it was necessary. I think the context here was crucial - the juxtaposition of the ferry terminal with Liverpool's iconic waterfront made it the "winner" as much as its ugliness. The Three Graces (Cunard, Liver and Port of Liverpool buildings) must be looking down on this thing in horror.
