Three architects vie for Sejima prize
Winner of mentor competition announced in December
Three architects in their 30s have made the final shortlist for a chance to work for a year with Japanese architect Kazuyo Sejima.
A winner will be named in December after being interviewed for the role by Sejima herself. The three come from Mexico, Colombia and China.
Frida Escobedo works at a small practice in Mexico City while Yang Zhao started his own architecture practice back in 2007. The third finalist is Colombian Camilo Restrepo Ochoa who specialises in urban design.
The competition is being organised through the Rolex Mentor and Protege Arts initiative.
