Sustainable schools on agenda at Ecobuild

BD editor to host discussion about future of school design

BD executive editor Ellis Woodman will be hosting a discussion about the future of sustainable school design at Ecobuild this week.

Woodman will chair a discussion with Penoyre & Prasad associate Rafael Marks and Architype director Jonathan Hines.

Marks will be discussing the carbon negative Ashmount Primary School and Crouch Hill Park project which his practice is designing for Islington Council with Willmott Dixon. 

Hines will be discussing his work on the design of Passivhaus-standard schools, including Oak Meadow in Wolverhampton, the UK’s first Passivhaus-standard primary school.

The event will take place this Thursday at 2pm.
