Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House in Chicago has become the latest building to be recreated for Lego’s architecture series.

The model will be launched at Robie House on August 27 and will be on sale in the UK in September.

Robie House is the 10th addition to the series and joins two other Wright designs, Fallingwater and New York’s Guggenheim Museum.

Other buildings in the series include the White House, the Empire State Building and the Burj Kalifa in Dubai.

Robie House was the first historic property to be declared a National Historic Landmark based solely on its architectural merit.

The building was also designated by the American Institute of Architects as one of the 10 most significant structures of the 20th century.

  • When I saw it the Robie house was in pieces having Aircon installed (why bother with wide eaves and through ventilation, FLW?). Will Lego have the better reproduction?
