Broadway Malyan plans new city in India
Future city said to be largest of its kind in metropolitan area
Broadway Malyan has unveiled plans for a new city in North Bangalore, India.
Bhartiya City is said to be the largest urban development within any Indian metropolitan area and will provide residential, retail, education, healthcare and sports facilities.
The two precincts comprise of 460,000sq m of mixed-use development over basement parking and feature six office towers, as well as Celebration Square, a public performance area that will accommodate 5,000 people.
The design would see people leaving close to their workplaces and with the entire city accessible by foot or bicycle.
