Liverpool School of Art and Destign, Duckinfield Street
L3 5RD

The show featured responses to a range of locations along the Manchester Ship Canal

Master of Architecture (MArch) students exhibited a range of imaginative mixed-media responses to their brief on unlocking the potential of a range of locations along the Manchester Ship Canal, including Eccles and Salford Quays.

Also on the third floor, Interior and Product Designers reimagined well-known Liverpool landmark buildings, such as LJMU’s Copperas Hill, and developed engaging new consumer brands and design concepts, many of which were advanced prototypes.

The ground floor Architecture studios featured an array of responses from BA (Hons) Architecture students to five specific briefs. The students presented models, CAD drawings and boards showing their theoretical workings, methodologies and inspirations. The two small seminar rooms off the main reception featured Fine Art installations, including Jessica Fairclough’s ‘An Atlantic Exploration’ video and Natasha Fewlass’s curious continuous list writing installation.
