More details of the legacy plan for the 2012 olympic park are emerging.

A new legacy masterplan for the Olympic Park was unveiled two weeks ago and now visualisation company Squint Opera has created a fly through of the site offering an optimistic vision of how it will look once the athletes have left with new housing, tourists flocking to Anish Kapoor’s Orbit tower and waterways teeming with life.

  • It's all for the best in this best of all possible worlds..... Kingfisher, pike, butterflies, dalmation about to plunge into a rowing eight that just happen to be passing. I know I am an old cynic but really!

I am getting to like Kapoors's pile of scrap metal. A fitting, rusting legacy of the games.
