Work starts on Niall McLaughlin's Magdalene College library

Niall McLaughlin library for Magdalene College Cambridge - Central Reading Room

Building will replace facilities currently housed in Pepys Library

Work has started on Niall McLaughlin Architects’ new library at Magdalene College in Cambridge.

The three-storey building is located on the edge of Fellows Garden, next to the grade I-listed Pepys Library.

The new library will replace existing facilities currently housed within the Pepys building, which in time will itself be refurbished via a separate project.
