Construction of the Bond Bryan-designed £7.6 million Post-16 Centre at Phoenix High School in Shepherd’s Bush, London, has been completed.
The centre has been built from in-situ concrete and features a ‘liqourice allsorts’ design with elevations comprising vertical timber panels framed with bright colours.
Jeff Stibbons, director at Bond Bryan, said: “This is a complex design that had to work within the constraints of a conservation area.”
The project team included structural engineers SKM, M&E consultants CPW and contractors Bowmer & Kirkland.
