The 234-room scheme will include a greenhouse, communal kitchen and flexible events spaces

Studio Egret West has submitted plans to knock down a Thai restaurant to make way for a 234-room aparthotel in east London’s Royal Victoria Docks.

The architect is seeking approval from Newham council for a waterfront scheme at 1 Dock Road, called ‘The Neighbour’, which it has designed for property developer General Projects.
