Newham approves Maccreanor Lavington’s school replacement scheme with residential tower

Project sits outside wider Carpenters Estate masterplan for 2,300 homes

The London Borough of Newham has approved plans by Maccreanor Lavington to regenerate the Carpenters Primary School site in Stratford.

Designed for Populo Living, the council’s wholly-owned housebuilder, the scheme involves delivering a replacement school, 120 new apartments on the school’s current car park, 100sqm of commercial space and new sports pitches.
