East London scheme includes homes and commercial space

Buckley Gray Yeoman has submitted plans to the London Legacy Development Corporation for a mixed-use scheme in the shadow of the Olympic Park in east London.

The scheme on Dace Road in Hackney Wick is a stone’s throw away from the renamed London Stadium – now home to Premier League team West Ham United – and will include new homes along with commercial and industrial space.

Four new buildings have been planned with the three residential blocks clad in brick. More than the half the 110 flats will have two bedrooms or more.

All the buildings, which will be up to six storeys in height, will be arranged around a central courtyard. Developer on the scheme is Aitch.
